controls include gas furnaces, gas dryers and gas water

White-Rodgers products have been at the forefront of
every major advance in gas heating and technology. First
with Hot Surface Ignition, virtually replacing standing
gas pilots and now with Integrated Furnace Control. The
Integrated Furnace Control controls all heating and cooling
functions while monitoring the entire furnace for safe
operation and includes system diagnostics to aid the service
person in quick and accurate repairs. An exclusive system
from White-Rodgers. Intell-Ignition combines the Integrated
Furnace Control with a more durable Nitride ignitor for
the most dependable ignition available today. Now Nitride
Ignitors are available as an aftermarket upgrade for silicon

Manufacturing
White-Rodgers has four manufacturing facilities world
wide, most of which are vertically integrated to ensure
uninterrupted production. Computer automated assembly
is used on lines that require high volume production with
high quality.
Most work is done in-house, starting with computer aided
design, aluminum die casting, plastic injection molding,
screw machines, automated machining, assembly and testing.
Constant attention is given to improving manufacturing
by applying Lean Manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma testing
and 5S for plant environment.
Quality Vision
White-Rodgers has the distinction of being the first U.S.
HVAC manufacturer to have its quality system agency-certified
under ISO 9001 standards. Every White-Rodgers supplier
undergoes regular testing and audits to ensure each process
begins to specification.
All White-Rodgers employees have completed Quality Education
